A NASA astronaut is being accused of what could be the first crime committed in outer space. Allegedly, Anne McClain illegally accessed her estranged spouse's bank account from the International Space Station while on a mission.

That would be considered identity theft and if convicted this would be considered the first crime committed in outer space. She would be charged as if it were a normal earth crime however.
