Kacey Musgraves stepped onto the pink carpet at the Met Gala wearing a long blonde wig and a Moschino hot pink leather moto gown with a matching stole, enormous diamond earrings, and she carried a blow-dryer purse, becoming a real life Barbie.
She even arrived in Barbie’s dream car and during the night, she managed to hold her hand in the stiff, fingers-closed way the doll does.
The fun part is, she was dressed exactly like the Barbie doll the Metropolitan Museum of Art is currently selling in its gift shop.
Her perfectly camp look was created by designer Jeremy Scott, who also designed the Barbie doll for the Met’s “Camp Collection.”
The limited-edition doll is selling for $75.
