As it turns out, Taylor Swift's old record label will allow her to play a collection of her hits that they technically own the rights to. Big Machine Label group was restricting Taylor from performing some of her older hits until she is allowed to re-record them, but that wouldn't be until next year.

A representative for Big Machine said the company has "agreed to grant all licenses of their artists' performances to stream post show and for re-broadcast on mutually approved platforms.

Taylor had tweeted about the situation last week and has been trading barbs with the record label ever since. All of that doesn't matter now as she has been cleared to play anyone of her songs she pleases when she gets named Artist of the Decade.
