A 4th-grader Raised Money and Donated Protective Vests for Police K9s

In Franklin, Indiana, a 10-year-old fourth-grader Richie Scott started raising the money back in December as part of a community service project.

He started a GoFundMe page, organized a bake sale and put donation jars in different places around town. The Indian Pacers basketball team even pitched in and he raised more than $2,000, enough to buy protective vests for Pepper, Thor and Stinger, K9 Police officers in his Community.
